Verdict

Eastern Rules was brought with a well-timed run to make a winning handicap debut over 6f here last week but a 10lb rise and longer trip makes this more difficult. Stablemate Night Breeze appeared to be suited by stepping up to 1m3f here last month so this could be on the short side. MRS BATT showed little aptitude for the surface early in her career but she's improved greatly on turf this summer. She should take this as she can return to Polytrack on a 7lb lower mark than turf and looks very well handicapped. Karjera makes her handicap debut and is tackling this trip for the first time.
