Melisandre won a maiden over the course and distance last September and finished a close second here in July but was last on a return visit earlier this month, though that didn't look her form. MIDNITEMUDCRABS finished fourth in that latter event and is generally reliable. He led for a long way before fading here a fortnight ago and, if ridden with a bit more restraint this time, may be capable of hanging on. Maysonette hasn't had much racing and makes her debut on the surface but Zippy won over a mile here in July after scoring over this trip at Tipperary and looks a threat.
