Confide, a winner for David O'Meara in the UK, hasn't run since runner-up over 7f at this meeting last year but Colin Keane has been booked and his mount will be fit enough. He's rated 7lb clear of six-times course winner WAR HERO but the latter will be receiving 17lb with his rider's claim taken into consideration. He's never won over a trip this far but has been staying on over 7f and looks the one to beat. Dutch Schaefer completed a double on heavy going in the autumn but has never raced on the all-weather. Mischief Star has a very long absence to overcome but Godhead, three-times a Polytrack winner in the UK, has been running well enough to get into contention.
