Verdict

Khelino stepped up to this trip for the first time two weeks ago and came with a storming run to catch Coppertop close home. A 7lb rise looks a bit excessive though he should go well again. Confident Cub made his debut on this track but his later runs have been on soft ground and he looked on the upgrade at Roscommon last time. Elusive Express is very consistent but has only won once and was beaten by CRISTY'S CALL over the C&D three weeks ago. The winner was having just his seventh career start on that occasion and with more to come can defy a 6lb rise with Ian Brennan's claim a major bonus. Clare Harrier hadn't shown much for a very long time before a cracking effort over the C&D earlier this month and a similar run would see him in the firing line. House Limit looks best of the remainder.
