Six Silver Lane was narrowly beaten by Reckless Lad in a similar race last month then ran out of steam close home over the extended 1m2f trip three weeks ago. SETTLE FOR RED was behind in that latter race but has a massive weight pull here and with Pat Smullen booked should reverse the form and take this. Yamato ran poorly in the race won by Reckless Lad last month but Rosenborg Rider was in excellent form here in December and hasn't been running badly from much higher marks in handicaps subsequently. This is his first time in a claimer and he looks a real threat.
