Stinglikeabee has been improving steadily and was staying on well when runner-up in a course and distance maiden last month. Psyche showed up nicely at Naas before attempting to make all over this track and trip where he couldn't shake off the odds-on Vatican City but held on well for second. Al Ruwais finished a close fourth though had every chance but KARBASANN caught the eye staying on into fifth and could be the one to take from the race. Shake A Leg has looked a bit one-paced in his two runs to date and it's difficult to know what King Of The Throne was doing in the rescheduled Futurity at Newcastle as he was a 150/1 chance though was by no means disgraced in sixth. His trainer doesn't generally waste entries so the $60,000 yearling must have been showing something at home.
