Shabra Emperor split a couple of higher rated horses when second over track and trip in a rated race last week. He has decent claims with a repeat, but it could pay to stick with STOICHKHOV. Michael Gleary's charge is chasing a hat-trick after landing a couple of course victories and has beaten a handful of today's opposition in doing so. Captains Dilemma got closest to the selection when runner-up over track and trip last month and Atlas Peak wasn't beaten that far when third over a mile here a fortnight ago. Pat Smullen's presence on Eljowzah takes the eye and she could prove best of the rest.
