YOUR PAL TAL looked as though this extra furlong would suit when third to the in-form Kimbay last week and it's a surprise that he's been dropped in the handicap so he's given the nod. Persian Caliph is one to keep an eye on in the betting as he looked in need of the run that night as it was his first since the summer and he's won around here. Fastidious, a winner over 7f here in February, seems best at that trip but Sassaway has had 13 attempts on Polytrack and failed to win a race, though she's generally run in better company.
