Able Jack gained his first track success when just hanging on from Dark Magic last week and the runner-up could boost the form in the previous race, though a 6lb penalty makes this tougher. NOIRVENTO has only once run over 7f and that was on Turf. He's been staying on over shorter and didn't get the run of the race last time so this could be his trip. A Likely Story doesn't win very often and hung badly when just failing to catch May Remain over 6f last week. However, he's been dropped 3lb and if he's ever going to win again this could be the night. Tynamite is looking well handicapped these days and ran well behind Tribal Path a couple of weeks ago while Masalai didn't get going last time when strongly fancied and is better than that.
