Verdict

This looks more competitive than Division One. Stone Mountain and Twin Falls have had plenty of chances and were beaten favourites last time. The former was returning from a long break when a well beaten second in a nursery while the latter was a long odds-on chance though her conqueror could be quite useful. Alphonsus made a promising debut at Leopardstown and wasn't beaten far into fourth here last month so he's entitled to respect along with Handcrafted, whose two runs behind the useful Sevenleft on Turf gave notice of better to come. ROMAN IMPERO looked in need of experience on his opening run in a 6f maiden at Navan won by the odds-on Moral High Ground but he showed enough potential to suggest he would be of interest on his next start so gets the vote.
