In depth

Verdict

House Limit isn't a prolific winner and is 1-22 on the all-weather but is quite well handicapped if returning in top form after a break. SEA OF BLUE went up 9lb for last month's victory but didn't get the run of the race on her next start a fortnight ago and can make amends from the same mark. Locus Standi was just behind in that latter event but had every chance and though the veteran Shake The Bucket has six all-weather victories to his credit his recent form has suggested he's on the wane. Stoichkhov won over a mile last week but he's a very rare runner over this sort of trip and hasn't proved he stays this far.
