Verdict

Noverre Princess is still a maiden after 15 starts and faded close home when third behind DAYS AHEAD over slightly shorter last time. The winner, who has scored over hurdles and fences, stayed on strongly in the closing stages and today's extra furlong will suit so a 5lb rise shouldn't prevent a follow-up. Regal Warrior has been running very well here and was only headed in the closing stages by Grezky last week. He holds the consistent First Friday on earlier running and should get into the mix despite a big weight. Houdini Bright is on the same mark as when successful over the C&D last February so shouldn't be dismissed.
