Mokhles had been placed twice at Gowran before coming here last month and gaining a comfortable victory for which a 7lb rise is unlikely to prevent another big effort. Stable companion Cliara scored at Naas last month while Boing showed his first real sign of form at Down Royal though that was over an extended 1m4f where he was staying on. Smaoineamh Sile looks to be improving and was going on at the finish over shorter at Clonmel but the vote goes to CLEW BAY, from a stable in top form and a very good second at Tipperary last month.
