Political Policy is getting closer to recording a ninth track victory, though appeared suited by stepping up to two miles last time. He finished behind Specific Gravity over 1m2f previously and though the winner has never won beyond that trip he went very close when second to Udogo early last month. Joseph O'Brien trains that winner and is also represented by the consistent Song Of Love, who is very closely matched with his stable companion after their two runs at the turn of the year. DUCHESSOFFLORENCE has been in superb form since stepping up to this trip and, though raised another 7lb for her latest success, a hat-trick beckons. Catchy Lass is generally consistent around here and easily landed a 1m2f claimer a fortnight ago but Poitin hasn't won since scoring here in April and is still 12lb higher. Mainicin had been running really well without winning but showed real battling qualities to see off Specific Gravity over 1m2f and she's possibly better at tonight's trip. The 2014 Queen Alexandra Stakes winner Pique Sous needs much further than this.
