In depth

Verdict

GO ON MURT was a very unlucky loser at Naas last month - his first sign of form. Those who witnessed that performance were on him here on Thursday where he won with something in hand and though 8lb higher looks set to complete a quick double. Jumbo Steps has only run twice on the surface and not for some time but he arrives in very good form after a cracking run behind the in-form Balladiene at Gowran and looks the one to take advantage if the selection doesn't come up to scratch. Danick Of Time hasn't had much experience and was disappointing after scoring here in February. He may just need this after a break while Wellmarked ran poorly at Roscommon after a very good run at Naas previously. Wot A Shot ran well at Clonmel last time but that was over 1m2f and he was well beaten over this C&D in October.
