CAPTAIN MIDNIGHT, who was rated in the 80s when trained in the UK, made a successful debut for new connections here last week when seeing off National Service in a close finish. The winner looked to have a bit in hand and can confirm the form despite the revised weights and take this. Twistsandturns has won three times around here (all over a mile) though he's capable of another big run and it will be a surprise if he's not there at the finish. Artistic Integrity has never won on the surface but couldn't have come much closer after being caught right on the line by the in form Kodiac's Back here last month. High Focus is only 1lb higher than his victory at Tipperary in August though this will be his first start on the surface.
