A low draw is a big help here and SOPHIES ECHO has stall 10 to overcome but she showed tremendous early pace when caught on the line by Bangalore Diamond here three weeks ago and hopefully can get to the front early enough and hang on. Mount McLeod wasn't too far behind but appears to need another furlong while Richelieu, who was further behind, is long past his best. Till Dawn has the best berth of all and would have an obvious chance on her narrow defeat by Rigid Rock last time though that was in November. Elusive Gent is well enough drawn but rarely runs over a trip this short these days.
