Poitin won this a year ago and though not winning subsequently is 11lb higher and is much better handicapped on Turf. Joseph O'Brien sets a poser by saddling three though Birthplace will need to do better than what he's shown in three runs on the surface. Udogo has been in excellent form though keeps finding a few too quick in the closing stages so LIGETI looks the yard's main hope. He completed a double in February and not surprising climbed the weights but he's run very well in his last two starts and still looks reasonably treated. Catchy Lass, who won the final race on the card a year ago, was beaten in a claimer last month though that was by the prolific Hes Our Music while Venezia was only just behind the selection last time and is another to consider. The former France-trained Abraham has a bit of quality about him and would be a threat if Shay Barry has him ready after a break since October.
