Pearl Of The West is making her all-weather debut but arrives in winning form having scored over timber at Carlisle in March. NIVVO had been running superbly all winter and was sent to Lingfield for the Fillies' and Mares' Championship. She never really got going though she wasn't beaten far at the finish. Back in her correct grade, she can return to winning ways. Claregate Street wasn't beaten far on her only start on this track while Smart Stinger makes her handicap debut after losing her maiden tag here in December. The latter is progressing nicely and should be thereabouts.
