In depth

Verdict

Fergal Lynch rode a fine waiting race on Cool Athlete last time and a 4lb rise shouldn't prevent another big effort. Elwazeer was on a hat-trick when a close third to Enigma Code but found a big weight rise against him and is 2lb higher. The versatile Knockgraffon Lad has won from a mile to 1m4f here in recent weeks and is still going strong despite a narrow defeat when last seen just before Christmas. The veteran Hard Rock City was returning from a long break when scoring over 7f on a rare Polytrack start a month ago but a 6lb rise may scupper his chance of a double and Lord Kenmare has been raised 7lb for last week's success. SPIN OF A COIN was having his first run since July when an excellent third to Akasaka early last month and with that under his belt can get back on the winning trail.
