Cailin Coillteach scored over the C&D then defied a 7lb rise to complete a double over an extra furlong when previous winner Naoise wasn't far behind. Willie McCreery's filly is probably capable of better but she has plenty to do against CHARISMAS BIRTHDAY, who gets the vote. Philip Byrne's filly was just over a length behind in the first of those races and, as that was only her second start since September and she's much better off at the weights, this should prove within her capabilities. Alvar wasn't too far behind in that event and is another who can do better while UK raider Gala Spirit is consistent enough but rarely wins.
