In depth

Verdict

After a promising debut at Leopardstown, Beauty Amazed started a short-priced favourite here in November but disappointed. He’s subsequently been gelded but THE CHURCHILL LAD may have his measure. He’s been staying on over a mile in both starts and his pedigree suggests he’ll be more at home over this trip. His stable companion Grimsby Town is one to note though Zeydar, a son of War Command, could prove best of the newcomers. Haroya is by Golden Horn out of a Group 3 winner and she’ll be better for her run at Cork in September where she was noted staying on.
