In depth

Verdict

UNCLE HENRY caught the eye on his debut and made no mistake when well supported over track and trip a fortnight ago. He should have plenty more to give so can go in again. Kuraka has never won but has been placed three times over hurdles since joining Gordon Elliott so is one to keep an eye on but Alcander looks a more potent threat having had only had two all-weather runs, making a successful debut here in December before just failing to defy a 7lb rise a couple of weeks later. Sharjah is always to be feared around here and did much better than expected when chasing home the prolific Clear Skies last week. Shadagann will be staying on after others have had enough, as he was over 2m three weeks ago.
