In depth

Verdict

Plenty of winning course form here including Arrycan, who was an easy winner of a beginners' chase in June but has been well beaten in handicaps subsequently. Clonguile Way has failed to take advantage of a lower hurdles mark since scoring here in May but Doldido is only up 4lb for last week's victory at Galway and has to be on the shortlist. Pat Coyne gained a deserved victory at Tramore and is greatly respected but this can go to CHESTERVILLE. He'd shown little over hurdles and fences before transferring to Denise Foster where he landed a Limerick maiden hurdle in convincing fashion. He's back over fences on a very lowly mark and can complete a double with Gordon Elliott taking over.
