Verdict

KING OF ARAN loves it around here having won three times on the track including over 2m5f last month. He's run well in two starts on the Flat subsequently, the latest on Thursday, and gets the nod in the hope he's recovered from those exertions. Muroor is another with winning form here and he's only 2lb higher than his victory in October while A Place Apart, another who has won here, reverts to hurdling on a 12lb lower mark than over fences and has a 7lb claimer on board. Wooster, a dual all-weather winner, showed his first real sign of form over hurdles at Kilbeggan earlier this month but Just A Normal Day is held by Muroor on their run here in October. The veteran Cappacon completed a double after a long break last season so the lack of a recent run shouldn't pose a problem
