Symphonist won a novices' handicap over the C&D in March by 10 lengths before finding three miles and a 9lb rise beyond him at Gowran. MAGNETIC FORCE won here in May and hasn't performed badly subsequently. He should be difficult to beat and, as he's just 4lb higher, he can again take care of third-placed Invincible Star, who is only 2lb better off. Lake Return is looking a few pounds high but Five Two is running well over timber and on the Flat so must be a threat despite being on his highest mark for almost four years.
