Verdict

Plenty of runners here but it will be a surprise if UP THE GIRLS isn't good enough. Three times a winner between the flags, she's done very well since reverting to hurdles and, after a fine run over the minimum trip at Clonmel, she very nearly made all over 2m6f at Punchestown. This trip should be ideal and she can gain her first success over timber. Call Box won a chase over 2m7f here in October so it's a surprise to see him back over timber. He didn't run badly over the C&D in December but performed badly at Fairyhouse the following month and is likely to be back over fences soon. Fiery Oscar scored at Thurles in January but has run poorly in two subsequent starts, but Givemeabuzz is quite well treated over timber and looks the main threat with Adrian Heskin's claim a bonus.
