Verdict

This is a low grade contest but gives EASY VIC the perfect opportunity to gain compensation for his disqualification at Limerick, where he was deemed to have interfered with The Blarney Rose. Ruby Walsh takes over the reins and Tony Martin's charge looks set to gain his first success over timber. Fitzgutentyte finally got off the mark over hurdles at the 27th time of asking at Wexford but a 7lb rise takes him onto his highest ever mark while winning point-to-pointer Miranour pulled up when strongly fancied at Sligo after two fine performances earlier. Personal Shopper looks a threat as she scored over this trip at Sligo before runner-up in a handicap chase at Downpatrick.
