Verdict

Visible Light was beaten narrowly by Tb Broke Her at Clonmel but didn't run up to that level on a return visit nine days later. The winner has also been beaten subsequently at Punchestown, though she didn't appear to stay the extra half-mile. Winning point-to-pointer By The Banks was staying on over slightly shorter at Downpatrick so this should prove ideal but the vote goes to COLMS DREAM (NAP). He's shown signs of progress over fences and can revert to hurdles on a 15lb lower mark which should be good enough to gain him his first success. Ancient Highway ran his best race to date behind Bold Optimist at Punchestown and further progress can see him in the frame.
