In depth

Verdict

RED DEVIL BOYS only found the useful Kayserberg too good over C&D in December last year. A repeat of that effort should see John Ferguson's five-year-old in the winner's enclosure today, though significant market support for either of the newcomers Lotus Pond or Monasterevin would have to be taken seriously. Wheelavher was only beaten four lengths at Hereford on her debut and looks best of the rest, though Clan William should improve on his first run at Uttoxeter.
