Verdict

Black Cow improved on his Kempton debut to finish third at Wincanton in May. He's one of several with decent claims in this bumper. Rendezvous Peak was only beaten a length on the Polytrack earlier this month and Powerscourt Dreams was third on his debut under Rules at Southwell. HUNTERS HOOF was given plenty to do on his debut at Ascot and was tapped for toe when the pace quickened off the home turn. He kept on nicely under considerate handling, however, and looks to have plenty of potential. Nicky Henderson's charge can open his account here unless either of the newcomers, Foxtail Hill or Whichwaytobougie, prove above average.
