PLANETARY MOTION nestles snugly at the foot of the weights and appeals as a likely type. Dangers may include Jeer and Folio. Mark Johnston's colt stands out in this field as one of the few that's capable of significant progression. He has had just four starts and has won the last two of them in convincing fashion although he still has to prove that he can reproduce that form on grass. He's also been allowed the run of the race the last twice so there are reasons enough to oppose him but we'll give him the chance to prove himself to be a decent sort. Jeer is having his first run for a new yard and isn't too badly treated on the best of his form. His connections are shrewd and are sure to get a win or two out of him somewhere down the line; the market could prove useful. Folio is handicapped more or less up to the hilt now but he comes into the race in fine form and has conditions to suit so it would be no surprise to see him go well. Aviso has dropped a long way in the weights and may appreciate the return to racing on turf whilst Tres Froide has a promising apprentice booked for her British debut and is worth a cursory check. The vote, though, goes the way of Planetary Motion.
