Verdict

HARRY THE HAWK can step up to the mark whilst it would be no surprise to see Grandage and Indicible show up well. Harry The Hawk is one of a number of unexposed runners in this line-up and support for the Walford charge would be welcomed given that it's a positive sign. His three runs to date have come on testing ground which may not have been ideal whilst his saddle slipped on his penultimate start and he ran better than the bare facts suggest over course and distance on his latest start. This is a more suitable test and he can improve for it. Grandage was rather disappointing when last seen but that was just his third start over obstacles and he makes his return from that short break at a time when his yard is going well; he has the ability to be a factor. There should be more to come from Dark Gentleman, Run Forest Run is better than he showed last time, Early Wings has the ability to go close but is quirky whilst support for the likes of Manshoor and All Out For Seven would be worth noting. Indicible has plenty to prove but he's unexposed and makes his seasonal reappearance in headgear and represents a yard that scored with a well backed runner at the last meeting. An interesting start to the day where the field may fall prey to Harry The Hawk.
