Verdict

Boston De La Roche won a couple of bumpers at minor tracks in France earlier this year and makes his debut for David Loder. But this looks a straightforward task for CHARBEL, a ready winner at Stratford on his hurdling debut with the scope to hold his own in much better races than this. Cactus Valley could be inconsistent on the level but will have conditions to suit and could make the frame if handling the step up in trip. He makes more appeal than December's course and distance second Emperor Commodos, who hasn't raced since a shocking run over further here in January and prefers softer going.
