In depth

Verdict

Ken'tucky gets the call here ahead of The Kew Tour and French Executive. Ken'tucky showed good qualities when chasing home Native Ivy at Sandown last time and, having won the time before, he looks the one that they all have to beat today. French Executive holds good claims if back to his form of a year ago, while Over The Storm looked useful in 2003 and 2004 and is well-weighted on his best form. he downside is that he has not been seen once since January 2004. The Kew Tour stays well and can be competitive from his current mark, while Jimmy Tennis holds a big chance based on his February 204 win, but he has failed to build on that. Tyndarius is back to a winning mark from just over a year ago, so can't be dismissed but it would be hard to be strong on the other pair. This returns us to the selection, which is Ken'tucky.
