There is little to choose between AILSA CRAIG and Mo Mhuirnin on recent form but the former is less exposed and ran well when chasing home Cape Melody in a maiden handicap at Chepstow earlier this month and a reproduction of that form may well suffice with the best of the remainder looking to be Who's Shirl. Chris Fairhurst's filly has gone well in defeat in her last three starts, latterly on her handicap debut at Carlisle and she has every chance off a 1lb lower mark today. Poppy's Rose ran better at Wolverhamton last time and would have every chance if able to reproduce a similar level of form back on turf, while Bryan Smart's Lyric Art was well held on her handicap debut last time and looks best watched. Alan Swinbank's Laura's Lady is unexposed after just two starts and has to be considered but she needs to step up on the form shown on her first start in a handicap at Redcar last month and a safer option looks to be Ailsa Craig.
