Verdict

Point Of Woods beat MUATADEL (NAP) a length-and-a-quarter over 5f here on his reappearance but the runner-up is now 2lb better off and can take his revenge over this extra furlong. Roger Fell’s top weight is only 2lb higher than when taking this 12 months ago and winning rider Tony Hamilton is back on board. Vincenzo Coccotti does most of his racing over 7f nowadays but did score over a shorter trip that this at Bath last month so rates a danger. Newcastle third Eastern Racer returns to Turf on a very fair mark but Burtonwood didn't beat much at Thirsk last time and looks held by several of these on the form book.
