    Verdict

Born In Bombay comfortably justified favouritism in a Kempton maiden in February and should win more races. Moonlight Venture got off the mark at Southwell last month and Cornborough made a winning debut at Redcar and the second went close at Yarmouth subsequently. Showpiece was a fair fourth at Newbury on his reappearance but didn't appear to last home when tried over this course and distance in September. MATALLEB idled in front when making a winning debut in a Newbury maiden two weeks ago. There was more in the locker and he can give the weight away to these, though Almuheet's defeat of Red Galileo on debut last year worked out well and he certainly didn't give his true running at Leicester subsequently.
