In depth

Verdict

Rene Mathis, Jallota and Lulu The Zulu all have a tough task at the weights while Highland Colori beat lower rated opposition when taking last year's renewal. The latter had won the Ayr Gold Cup before landing this and Louis The Pious attempts to follow suit. He should have the beating of Morache Music but Top Notch Tonto and Fencing will be harder to beat if back to their best. LINTON (NAP) is a relative unknown on these shores with only a recent pipe-opener at Redcar to his name. But he's a Group 1 winner over today's trip in Australia and Marco Botti's charge is likely to prove a lot sharper today so gets the vote.
