Verdict

A quick reappearance from Mobane Flyer can initiate the desired result and he is nominated to round off day-one at Doncaster in good style for Richard Fahey. Revenir and the consistent, if frustrating Tedsdale Mac can give the selection the most to do. The latter can usually be relied upon to run his race and should be thereabouts if he runs true to form. However, his record of ten previous placed efforts tells its own story and he is always a risky proposition for win only purposes. Revenir is lightly raced and has enough scope to handle the demands put on him from of his 6lb penalty. Still, he has yet to race on ground this testing turf and looks opposable from top weight in this company. Therefore, we prefer the to side with Mobane Flyer, who is holding his form really well at the moment. The four-year-old traveled strongly until just getting overhauled in the closing stages on similar ground at Nottingham two days ago. So has no doubts surrounding his ability to rise to a test of stamina - a statement that makes the case for Mobane Flyer slightly more compelling when the claims of most of his rivals are put under further scrutiny.
