Verdict

WHAT’S OCCURRING has twice run well in better races since completing a double at Hereford in the autumn. He does carry an extra penalty but may be able to fend off Doctor Dex, though Tom George’s charge did beat a couple of subsequent winners in a Wetherby maiden last time. Bolton Boy beat much better-fancied rivals at Sedgefield in November and remains unexposed but Kelso winner Romeo Brown didn’t appear to get home over 2m4f at Sedgefield. The other pair have some improving to do.
