In depth

Verdict

Headscarf Lil just came up short over this trip at Perth in September but the longer trip is a concern for Bon Retour and maiden Minniemum will need to settle better if she is to last home. Phillapa Sue seems sure to be thereabouts on her second at Market Rasen, however, where she finished ahead of Jersey Lady. AAZZA won by 20 lengths over course and distance at the start of the year and something may have been amiss when she weakened quickly behind September Daisy at Hexham later. She caught the eye on her reappearance at Musselburgh and Craig Nichol takes over the reins from a conditional.
