Verdict

This is a good race and it is hard to get away from FORGOTTEN VOICE who is nominated to get the better of Perks and Dream Lodge. Jeremy Noseda's colt faces a tough assignment here but he has a 100 per cent record so far and he has showed progress in each of his four starts. He won the Royal Hunt Cup at Ascot last month and he can make his obvious class count today. Perks is the danger as he has course and distance winning form and he has been running with great credit in Group company. His best form is with cut in the ground so he has conditions to suit and he should be capable of running a big race. Dream Lodge finished narrowly behind Perks in a Listed handicap at Ascot last month and the yard are in good form so he is another to consider. Bushman is another who will appreciate the juice in the ground, but there should be more to come from Forgotten Voice who gets our vote.
