      Verdict

Kiwi Bay remains a capable handicapper at the age of nine but obviously has no secrets from the assessor nowadays. He'll run his race whilst at the opposite end of the spectrum, Glorious Star is thoroughly unexposed and could be interesting on this handicap bow. Cape Samba dropped away tamely on his reappearance run, hopefully due to rustiness after nearly eight months off as he was most progressive in the second half of last season. Maybe the market will indicate his current wellbeing and stable expectations. It Must Be Faith is shortlisted with the drop to a mile likely to suit whilst Milkwood doesn't deserve maiden status after 20 starts. SIMPLY SHINING continues to run well without winning and is probably where the handicapper wants him but he'll be a dangerous proposition if settling just a fraction better. Ryan Moore takes the ride here and maybe he can work the oracle on the Rock Of Gibraltar filly.
