Verdict

A rare Ballydoyle runner in races of this nature, THE IRISH ROVER has only one failure on his record and that was in the Coventry Stakes at Ascot when he was hampered on leaving the stalls. His form in group races the last twice is very solid and he should take all the beating granted luck in-running in this big field. Rathbone hasn’t been beaten far in any of his four runs and is likely to be on the premises again. Aim Power, one of six Richard Hannon runners, has to go on the short-list off bottom weight as she’s produced a couple of decent performances at Goodwood since winning at Windsor. Rathbone’s stablemates, Celebrity Dancer and The Great Heir, should also be in the firing-line and Louis Treize is improving and held in some regard. Kinks has be on the go since April but can be forgiven her latest run in the Prix Morny and looks a tough filly.
