Verdict

LASKARI won at this meeting last year and he can take the nightcap with Aimigayle and Boychuk likely to give him most to think about. Paul Webber's charge arrives at Town Moor in good heart following a recent success at Huntingdon and the step up in trip really should not prove to be an issue. Aimigayle has been a credit to Suzy Smith. The handicapper has given her a 3lb rise for her second at Ascot to The Last Derby and that might just be enough to stop her this afternoon. Boychuk is a quirky performer at the best of times though it will be interesting to see if leading conditional rider, Giles Hawkins, can sweeten his ideas about the game. Briery Fox finished second in the Bet365 Gold Cup at the end of last season so the market is watched in order to see if he can build upon a modest reappearance effort. Wind Instrument was a potentially very classy hurdler on his day and off a mark of 130, the handicapper has dangled a real carrot in his direction over the larger obstacles. Rambling Minister drops down in grade having taken on much better opposition earlier in the season. He raced with no enthusiasm at Sandown last week and is best watched at present. Denis O'Regan has won previously on That's Rhythm and the ground should represent few ills. Craiglands was the subject of very strong market confidence ahead of the Grand Sefton at Aintree. He failed to fire on that occasion though will be in receipt of weight from all of his rivals today. Laskari likes life around Doncaster and he should be capable of adding to his tally.
