Verdict

Midnight Macchiato has been climbing the weights without winning and was disappointing at Musselburgh last week. Mediciman makes more appeal as he may have needed his reappearance at Sandown and is having just his second start in a handicap. James Doyle has a good book of rides this afternoon and CONSTANTINO is one of those. Richard Fahey's colt made his reappearance in a hot contest at York and was then beaten less than a length when fourth at Haydock – he should be cherry-ripe now. Rebel Cause is promising but has his first run on Turf and Rosenborg Rider finished tailed off at Haydock on his first run on the surface.
