Verdict

ANOTHER STORM ran well enough in a fair race at Ascot to get the nod in this competitive finale. Je Ne Sais Plus and Ready To Crown have claims whilst it will be interesting to see if there's any money for Tarabaloo. Ben Case's mare has progressed well this summer and took another step forwards when finishing fourth over two miles six at Ascot. She should handle the cut in the ground and the drop in trip and has leading claims from the same mark. Je Ne Sais Plus lacks a run but she showed a consistent level of form towards the end of last term and into the summer and may have more to offer this season. Ready To Crown won well at Warwick but has an 11lb rise in the weights to cope with although the second has given the form a boost by running well in defeat since. Tarabaloo may not have been suited by the heavy ground last time but may also need a confidence boost having fallen over fences prior to that. She's only had a couple of starts for her present yard and is capable of going well from what could be a decent mark and the market may guide but, at present, the vote goes to Another Storm.
