      Verdict

Rain would suit Sunraider however conditions may be more in favour of the progressive KAJIMA. Richard Hannon's son of Oasis Dream is 6lbs higher than when a winner at Kempton last month but he hasn't run a bad race this year and it's conceivable that there might be more to come under conditions like todays. Sunraider has got bits of form on quick ground and has run well here before however recent performances have suggested a bit of cut suits best, but along with Layla's Hero and Mass Rally he rates a big threat. Colepeper holds Layla's Hero on their Brighton run and he has little to find with the selection on their Kempton run, whilst Carnaby Street and Navajo Chief are big players as they drop in class. Waveband is not discounted now back up in trip on quick ground, whilst Flying Statesman has been off since finishing tenth in last-year's Coventry Stakes.
