Verdict

Ghalib, Nameitwhatyoulike and Shared Equity all won handicaps last time. The first-named is still a three-year-old so may have the most scope of that trio, though this is a big step up. Lightning Moon, Lancelot Du Lac and Jack Dexter all finished practically upsides in the Sprint on Champions Day at Ascot three weeks ago and should enjoy this easier grade. The latter is a standing dish in this and won it in 2013, though was behind Lancelot Du Lac when only fourth last year. GOLDEN AMBER is one of three her trainer runs in this but the filly could be the pick. She's held her form really well all year and won't mind the ground, beating the penalised Iveagh Gardens on similar going in Ireland a couple of years ago. Mobsta may be progressing but could find this a tough assignment.
